PGCS Workers' Compensation Division
WC Claiom

The Workers' Compensation claims are handled by licensed professional adjusters with the work load assigned at 125 cases per lost time adjuster and 300 cases per no lost time adjuster. The adjusters handle either no lost time cases (medical only) or lost time cases (both medical and indemnity). They do not handle both unless specified by the client. The supervisor monitors the files on a regular basis for promptness in handling and severity of cases. Adjuster inventory is controlled to maintain a high quality service to claimants and the employer. PGCS is dedicated and committed to providing superior claims processing to its members.

PGCS has always pursued workers' compensation subrogation to the fullest extent available under Florida Statutes 440.39. Based on the volume of potential subrogation claims, we established a dedicated subrogation department. To date PGCS has recovered, through workers' compensation subrogation, an average of 54% of the expenses incurred on workers' compensation claims where a third party is at fault.
